Hey all - check peeklinux.com & elinux.com/peek

They have obtained all the documentation and posted it now. Also check the IRC chat, there is some chatter on there more recently. It looks like cmw is making a breakthrough in booting, so worth reaching out to him.

Any word on the NDA? I'd like to assist in porting it to a new platform. I develop embedded linux systems at work - this could be a fun project.

Following up on my own comment ... someone from the Mer team said:

"ARM9TDMI, low RAM, MMU-less, 104mhz. We're not going to get anything sane running on it sadly"

What are the chances that you'd be making a Peek2 that had something like TI OMAP 3 CPU, and its family of chips? I'd also suggest a dpad between the keyboard and the screen (sort of like the button arrangements on a Nokia E61, E62, E61i, E63, or E71). That might be a more comfortable starting place for mobile linux developers.
