"Cell phones" are by now a really cheap and easy technology, and the bogus "retail" prices they charge are an outrage. On the other hand, they do their best to stuff those smartphones full of junk you barely use to justify the $599-no-contract price.... You do have the choice to pay the regular retail price of the phone and be contract-free. Granted the regular price of the phone is expensive, but what do you expect? Look at all that cellphones can do: talk to anyone in the world with a little device in the palm of your hand and get the internet in your hand wherever you go too. That's pretty amazing.
