Linux for ARM – Which One of You Can Get Linux Working on the Peek?

There is a very broad Linux for ARM movement around the world that is ongoing that has me excited these days as we use an ARM7 Texas Instrument’s processor.

This is the list of the over 2300 devices in the world that have been ported to Linux for ARM variants:

There is even a flavour of Linux for our ARM7 processor (we use ARM7TDMI):

So armed with this new fountain of information I’m hoping one or more of you out there in the world can get Linux running on the Peek. Feel free to post here on how far you get.

And here’s the deal, if one of you does make it happen you can have a little mini-consulting gig with us to tell us how you did it and how we could build a Mobile Linux Peek.

And here’s one more link to inspire some of you out there, a list of hacks on other consumer electronic devices and how the hacks have been done http://dev.eyebeam.org/projects/reware/wiki/Reware
